Join Our Team as an Experienced IT Project/Program Manager in Jupiter, FL Are you an experienced IT Project/Program Manager looking to make a significant impact in the energy sector? Join NextEra Energy's IT Nuclear Projects team in Jupiter, FL, and lead high-priority IT programs across our nuclear fleet. You'll play a crucial role in driving project success, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks. Responsibilities Provide formalized leadership and ongoing direction to assigned teams, ensuring timely and effective project execution. Oversee the installation of IT projects across multiple business areas, ensuring alignment with business needs and technology strategies. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Maintain a consolidated view of all assigned IT project workstreams, milestones, and dependencies. Develop and deliver regular status reports to ITN and nuclear business leadership. Ensure all assigned projects adhere to NextEra IT delivery standards and governance frameworks. Develop and maintain project budgets targeting ≤5% variance; monitor actuals on a recurring cadence. Lead SOW creation and manage full PO lifecycle through invoice reconciliation. Manage vendor relationships, performance, and contractual compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 8 years of IT project management experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs. Demonstrated vendor governance and oversight experience. Strong financial acumen: SOW/PO management, budget forecasting, variance management (≤5% target). Experience with GRC reviews and procurement in regulated environments. Excellent executive stakeholder communication skills. Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, and/or Power BI. Preferences Nuclear or large-scale utility site project experience. PMP or equivalent certification. Familiarity with NextEra IT delivery standards. Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery experience.
