Job Title: IT Risk Manager (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an IT risk management framework aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize IT risks, ensuring that risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure risks are understood and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate issues as necessary to senior management.
  • Develop and deliver risk management training and awareness programs for staff.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities, advising on necessary preventive measures.
  • Manage third-party risk assessments for vendors and partners to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports for stakeholders, highlighting potential impacts and recommended actions.
  • Participate in incident response planning and management to address security breaches and other IT risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey risk information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISM, CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
