Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional developer to strengthen our team and improve our systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and implementing modern solutions. They will focus on the design, implementation, and management of SharePoint as a central repository and reporting platform for the business. Initial responsibilities will involve integrating and replacing legacy technologies to streamline processes and reduce human effort using solutions such as Microsoft SharePoint and the Power Platform. The candidate will also provide support for issues related to the Microsoft Platform and general IT questions.
The candidate will have a familiarity with Microsoft technologies and will be responsible for implementing first class standards, ensuring business continuity, performance and productivity. The candidate will lead change across the business working with all stakeholders to ensure our systems meet the requirements of the business as it grows.
The candidate will be based on Luxfer’s Flemington, NJ site, working with the wider IT team based in Manchester, UK and Saxonburg, PA. The job’s primary responsibility will be SharePoint development, but the candidate may be called on to act as ‘smart hands’ for the wider IT team.

- Salary range $80-100k, depending on experience
- Architect, design and maintain SharePoint platform. Provide drive and support to modernize business practices within the Power Apps Platform.
- Provide Technical Support to analytical team to develop integration with internal and external systems.
- Provide and maintain BEST practice standards to the business within the Microsoft Ecosystem
- Work autonomously with business stakeholders and provide technical solutions from concept to implementation.
- Lead the adoption of new and emerging technologies, including Generative AI.
- Provide support and technical leadership to onsite IT resources.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Support auditing requirements, collate reports and evidence and interact with third party stakeholders, internal and external auditors.
- This role requires flexibility to travel to company sites within the United Kingdom. Candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, the appropriate visa and permissions to travel for work.
- Site collections, sites, webs, pages, lists and libraries
- managing and monitoring flat and dynamic permissions, and access rights
- Microsoft Power Platform, Teams Admin and Purview
- Strong time management
- workflow development and support of legacy SharePoint technologies i.e. InfoPath
- PowerShell, C#, JavaScript and .NET
- SQL scripting and reporting
- Flexible and nimble work style for fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma and Microsoft IT certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field is desirable
- SharePoint design and implementation
- SharePoint Online and On-premises management and configuration
- Working with Business Process Owners and developing projects from concept to completion
- System integration and programming API’s
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP, Datasphere and Salesforce
- Internal/ External auditing processes
- ITIL Framework
- Robust web design, programming skills and experience.
