Job Description:
An enterprise Life Sciences (Medical Device) company is seeking an IT Specialist to join their team. This person will be joining a team responsible for R&D, testing, and validation of medical device products and will be reporting directly to the Sr. IT Manager for R&D Labs. They will be working cross functionally across IT and the business stakeholders to improve processes and recommend solutions from a network and systems perspective. They should be comfortable offering executive level end user support and have great written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience supporting networking and lab systems
• Experience with benchtop assets, network segregation, cybersecurity, and lab environments in an end user support role
• Experience working within an R&D Organization of a healthcare related field (Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hospitals)
• Agile experience
• Strong communicator, able to build relationships and articulate technical solutions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with network architecture, design, and support
• Experience configuring applications to meet GxP compliance requirements
• Experience managing cloud and physical infrastructure across windows and linux
