To learn more, please visit our website at Position Summary Provide technical support for the use of Information Technology and Services within the manufacturing facility and the business sector to meet business objectives. Provide technical assistance to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Diagnose and solve technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime. Assist and observe the IT / OT Manager as a backup / apprentice for the OT and Manufacturing network. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for ITIL processes and providing computer technical support with a focus on customer service. Perform troubleshooting related to general user support, client connectivity, and printing. Utilize ticketing system to track issues and manage location queues to ensure that new tickets are identified, prioritized, and resolved. Install, test, and maintain computer equipment, peripherals, and network infrastructure. Responsible for maintaining site level compliance metrics, PC Lifecycle and Dell leased assets. Install, support, and maintain end-point devices (iOS/Android). Assist in new office setup, office moves by setting up PCs and peripherals. Manage network accounts and telephone extensions for new users. Perform new user computer orientations covering appropriate usage of applications and network resources. Provide backup support for local and wide area network telecommunications. Work with sector teams to support and represent the mill. Maintain site Video Management System in accordance with relevant policies. Maintain and update documentation, inventory, network diagrams & patch panels. Provide first level support for process control / plant applications. Communicate and escali issues after thorough assessment. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager. Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills AS or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. CompTIA A+ or other relevant certification(s), or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment. Basic understanding of computer hardware and software with familiarity with Windows, and iOS operating systems. Knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, Cisco Switch networks. Hands on experience through work experience, internships, lab work or personal projects is desired. Commitment to providing excellent support and ensuring user satisfaction.
