IT Specialist – Food Manufacturing

About the Opportunity:

A well-established food manufacturing company in the western suburbs of Chicago is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to maintain and enhance its technology infrastructure. This role supports manufacturing operations, R&D teams, and corporate functions, playing a key part in operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and maintenance for hardware, software, and network systems
• Partner with production and R&D on automation and operational technology needs
• Manage cybersecurity policies and data protection
• Support enterprise systems including ERP and production management software
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology for process improvements

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in IT support within manufacturing or industrial settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications
• Familiarity with automation or manufacturing technology is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience



Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salary range: $75,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience
