IT Specialist – Key Skills & Responsibilities
Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced IT Specialist to lead the setup and ongoing management of technology systems for a new 30,000 sq. ft. office. This role will own all aspects of IT infrastructure, ensure seamless day-to-day operations, and implement scalable solutions that support collaboration and efficiency across the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
Plan and execute full IT infrastructure setup for a new office, including networking, servers, security, and cabling.
Configure and maintain employee workstations, printers, and other peripherals.
Set up and manage VoIP phone systems and mobile devices.
Implement and administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other collaboration tools.
Coordinate with internet service providers and manage network security, data backups, and system reliability.
Oversee software installations, updates, and integrations (e.g., CRM, workflow platforms, and other business applications).
Provide company-wide helpdesk support and resolve technical issues promptly.
Establish IT policies, asset tracking systems, and user documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure for multi-department or multi-location environments.
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams administration.
Proficiency with network setup and management (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
Experience with cloud storage solutions, migrations, and system integrations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate projects across departments.
