IT Support Desk Technician (Contract)
The Hollister Group is partnering with an organization seeking an IT Support Desk Technician to provide day-to-day end-user support. This person will be a first point of contact for troubleshooting common technology issues and ensuring employees have a smooth support experience.
Compensation: $27-33/hour based on experience
This is a 3 month contract position onsite in Norwell, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person support
- Troubleshoot routine hardware, software, and access issues and escalate as needed
- Assist with user onboarding and setup, including device readiness and basic account access
- Support general maintenance tasks, upgrades, and deployments as assigned
- Track and document support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system
- Contribute to ongoing IT initiatives and technology rollouts as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an IT support/helpdesk or end-user support role
- SharePoint experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a user-first mindset
- Comfortable working in a Microsoft-based environment and supporting common workplace tools
- Able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced setting
- Relevant certifications are a plus, but not required
