Christopherson Business Travel, a globally recognized leader in Travel Management, is looking for an IT and Application Support Specialist to join our Technology team. This position will focus on end-user IT support as well as application support for both 3rd party and proprietary systems while providing the highest quality customer service. The Support team works in a fast-paced dynamic environment providing service over the phone, via email, in person and via remote sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize, evaluate, track and resolve Service Desk requests as well as maintain related user guides and other self-service documentation
  • Support and troubleshoot customer issues both hardware and software related
  • Perform basic system and application administration/configuration tasks
  • Escalate requests when additional technical expertise is required
  • Assist in technical projects as needed
  • Seek opportunity to teach and learn from other team members

Requirements

  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with IT and/or Application support over the phone and in person
  • Experience troubleshooting proprietary software applications
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, MacOS, Office 365, modern browsers and other common business applications
  • Experience with device management solutions like Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and Apple Business Manager
  • Basic computer hardware and/or networking configuration and installation
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism while assisting users in stressful situations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Fearless, innovative self-starter that will get their hands dirty

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree and/or technical certifications
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Service Desk, Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo, etc.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration
  • Experience with Bomgar
  • Experience with SQL, C# and/or Java
