Technical Support:

  • Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, application issues, and connectivity problems.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.

System Maintenance:

  • Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updates, patches, and backups.
  • Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.

End-User Assistance:

  • Assist users with technical issues, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Set up and configure new user accounts, hardware, and software.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of technical issues and solutions.
  • Create and update IT support guides and training materials.

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
  • Support the deployment and configuration of IT equipment and software.
  • Manage network resources, including printers, routers, and switches.

Security Compliance:

  • Ensure IT systems meet organizational and industry security standards.
  • Perform regular audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installation.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or equivalent
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
