It Support Engineer On Site Apply
Technical Support:
- Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, application issues, and connectivity problems.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
System Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updates, patches, and backups.
- Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment.
End-User Assistance:
- Assist users with technical issues, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Set up and configure new user accounts, hardware, and software.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of technical issues and solutions.
- Create and update IT support guides and training materials.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
- Support the deployment and configuration of IT equipment and software.
- Manage network resources, including printers, routers, and switches.
Security Compliance:
- Ensure IT systems meet organizational and industry security standards.
- Perform regular audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or equivalent
- ITIL Foundation Certification
