Job Title: IT Support Specialist (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to various systems and applications.
  • Install, update, and patch software applications and operating systems.
  • Document and track support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues as needed.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and performance checks on IT systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices and software applications.
  • Assist with the implementation and deployment of new IT systems and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT support or a similar role, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and software applications.
  • Experience in IT support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
