Job Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with active CompTIA A+ certification and proven experience in a corporate Microsoft 365 / Active Directory environment to support our organization's technology infrastructure and ensure seamless operation of all IT systems. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and assisting with network management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and a solid understanding of various operating systems and network protocols. Duties
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Troubleshoot software problems related to applications such as Microsoft Office
- Manage computer systems including Windows, and Windows Server environments.
- Assist with computer hardware setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Support network administration tasks including LAN, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, WAPs, MDM and Active Directory management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft HYPER-V is required.
- Support mobile devices and ensure security protocols are followed for all endpoints.
- Assist in help desk operations by responding to user inquiries promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of technical support, software troubleshooting, and computer management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, Windows Server environments.
- Experience with computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls and network administration tools
- Familiarity with Active Directory management.
- VM management is required.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as routers, switches, servers, and mobile device management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on detail orientation.
- Analytical skills for diagnosing complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Active CompTIA A+ Certification (no exceptions)
Prior experience in a corporate Microsoft environment (not retail)
