Then you might be in line as the next IT Systems Administrator for Kirby Risk, working out of either our Lafayette or Indianapolis locations.
As an IT Systems Administrator you will support the Kirby Risk business hardware and software systems. This role is essential to ensuring that our internal and external staff can rely upon the systems that help them maintain high levels of productivity and service to customers.
What will I be doing as a Systems Administrator?
- Assess, plan, and enacts security measures to help protect data and technology
- Recommend secure configurations for technology based on detailed understanding of threats
- Implements security measures and best practices for system safety
- Manage Phishing and security programs and perform malware investigations
- Monitor and analyze current threats to stay up to date with industry cyber-threat intelligence
- Configure, maintain, and trouble-shoot personal computers, the network, servers, peripheral software packages and associated hardware
- Ensure that backup, recovery, and security procedures are set up and performed
- Analyze computer systems networks to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

- IT experience as a student or in the workforce 2-3 years
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Able to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
- Solid communication skills; written and verbal
- Highly detailed oriented and well organized (inventory, projects, tickets)
- Composed under stress
- Self-Sufficient
What are the Hours?
M-F 7a-4p or 8a- 5p, Minimal travel.
