Our client in (area/region) has an immediate need for a (job title). Please note that this is a (contract/contract to hire/direct hire) opportunity with our client and NOT with NRI. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical systems.Build, patch, test, and deploy complex systems and enterprise platforms.Perform storage and server data backups, data migration, and disaster recovery operations.Conduct complex system and application upgrades.Document system upgrade and troubleshooting procedures.Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and high availability solutions to meet 24/7/365 operational needs.Provide second-level technical support to users, troubleshooting network or platform performance issues.Offer after-hours support, including nights and weekends, as required.Perform other duties as assigned by Information and Technology Management. Experience & QualificationsExperience in administering and deploying VMware ESX and Citrix XenServer.Proficiency in managing On-Prem and Azure Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Failover Clustering, and Office 365 Exchange mail.Expertise in managing enterprise SAN/NAS storage platforms such as EMC Unity, VNX, and EMC Isilon Pure.Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery solutions like Networker, Data Domain, Recover Point, SRM, and Veeam.Experience with Linux operating system installation, patching, and administration.Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or VMware Certified Professional. Education/CertificationBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of System Administration experience, or 10 years of related experience. Skills & CompetenciesStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and escalate appropriately for resolution.Advanced written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Open to coaching and able to apply feedback.Exceptional interpersonal skills; a team player with proven ability to work across functional areas and all levels of the organization.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
