IT TECHNICIAN - BRICK TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY , a progressive and large public utility has an immediate opening for a IT Technician. This position reports directly to the IT Supervisor and will provide assistance to the Authority IT Division in the maintenance of in-house computer systems (i.e., desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals), as well as our communication and security systems. This individual will assist with installing software/hardware, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all related IT hardware and equipment will provide end user support to Authority staff. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of one to three years of proven experience installing software and configuring PCs on a network. Must possess effective problem‑solving skills, interface effectively with staff, and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Experience working with computers running Windows 11, Office 365, VMware, and cyber security applications preferred. Degree from an Information Technology trade school or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology may be acceptable in lieu of work experience.
