IT Technician supports the ITSS Department with the daily activities.Detailed Tasks:Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scannersSetting up user accounts and profile for AD, printer and other network devicesInstalling and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications such as Microsoft Office, Printer drivers and other standard softwareInstalling updates and patches to hardware and network devicesResponding to technical support for 1st and 2nd level for standard hardware, software and operating systems used in the environmentDiagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faultsMaintaining inventories of hardware and softwareKeeping a record of issues and faults along with solutions, for future reference.Responsibilities:Maintaining end users’ computer and peripherals suitable for daily operational usedEnsuring the company’s IT Infrastructure, hardware and software’s are following the headquarters’ standardMonitoring and maintaining computer systems and networksSetting up accounts for new usersRepairing and replacing equipment as necessaryAdherence to all information security and physical security policies and programs.Educational Background:BS Degree in Computer / ITBS Engineering field (Computer or ECE)Training or Certification:CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Network+Active Directory Services (GPO and Account Management)Work Experience:1 – 2 years’ experience with Microsoft operating systems (Win 11, Win 10, Win7, Server and products (e.g. MS Office)Experience troubleshooting issues on multiple computer platforms: Windows, virtual machines, mobiles and other network devicesExperience in Active Directory (AD) is an advantageFamiliar with IT Infrastructure (e.g. PC’s, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, peripherals, LAN, servers)Familiar with the concept of networking systemFamiliar with networking equipment ( router, switches, firewall, access points, gateway and others)Knowledge:Familiar with IT Infrastructure (e.g. PC’s, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, peripherals, LAN, servers)Familiar with the concept of networking systemFamiliar with networking equipment ( router, switches, firewall, access points, gateway and others)With basic knowledge on ISO standards ( ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 22301:2019)Work Schedule:Flexible work schedule: at least 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.
