Summary: Blackfield Associates are supporting a global biopharmaceutical manufacturer in their search for an IT/OT Systems Admin Engineer to join a major manufacturing investments in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position is part of a wider team tasked in delivering large-scale expansion projects across aseptic manufacturing, fill & finish, warehousing, and quality operations. In this role, you will support the administration and lifecycle management of critical IT Infrastructure and manufacturing systems, working alongside engineering, automation, and IT teams to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure within an FDA/GMP-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and support IT/OT infrastructure systems throughout their lifecycle. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, responding to operational and security incidents. Manage server infrastructure, virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, and patch management activities. Support system qualification, validation, and compliance within an FDA/GMP-regulated environment. Collaborate with engineering, automation, IT security, and project teams to deliver new infrastructure and system enhancements. Participate in risk assessments, cybersecurity initiatives, and infrastructure improvement projects. Provide technical guidance to internal teams and act as a subject matter expert during audits and inspections. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT or Engineering discipline. Experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure within a regulated manufacturing environment. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization platforms, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and patch management. Knowledge of networking fundamentals, cybersecurity, and infrastructure monitoring tools. Experience supporting large-scale server environments and IT systems within regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing. Bonus Experience: Familiarity with ITIL principles, computer system validation (CSV), and regulated IT environments is highly desirable. Relevant Microsoft or infrastructure certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent) are advantageous.
