Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - Friday (30 Minutes Lunch Time)

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• A janitor is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a designated area, including any number of buildings and the surrounding area.
• A janitor should be in moderate physical health and able to stay on his feet for hours each day, as well as climb, bend and move heavy equipment.
• Cleaning Janitorial responsibilities include basic cleaning: sweeping, mopping or vacuuming floors, dusting, polishing furniture and cleaning glass.
• They may also be required to clean laboratory equipment.
• Supplies A janitor is also responsible for keeping bathrooms clean and well stocked, as well as informing a supervisor when more supplies are needed.
• Equipment Operation A janitor may be required to operate heavy-duty equipment like carpet shampooers, steam cleaners and power tools.
