Janitorial Maintenance Worker
Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, and appliances.
- Refill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers as needed.
- Clean and maintain entryways and common areas.

Maintenance Tasks:
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and repairing fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor building security and report any suspicious activity.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.

Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations:
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Adhere to sanitation standards and guidelines.

Communication:
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding tasks and responsibilities.
- Report any issues or concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
