Job Summary:
- This is a contract-to-hire position for a Backend Java Developer based in Blue Ash, OH 45242.
- The role requires the candidate to be in office for 2-3 days.
- Preference will be given to local candidates with retail and eCommerce applications experience.
- Key responsibilities include developing backend eCommerce web and Merchandizing applications, collaborating with designers and product managers, identifying and upholding engineering best practices, and monitoring performance.
- The candidate must have significant Java programming skills, experience with Azure based technologies, Microservices architecture and development skills, and experience with the Spring Framework.
- They should also have knowledge of SQL Database and NoSQL Databases, experience in Messaging architectures & development- Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and experience working with CI/CD tools.
- The candidate must be a self-starter with strong initiative, have strong analytical problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
