Our client is looking for an Open API Java Developer project in Jacksonville, FL. Below are the detailed requirements.

Job Title: Java Developer (Backend)

Job description:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain API specifications and documentation using OpenAPI (Swagger) standards.
• Build secure APIs by implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Integrate backend services with internal applications, third-party APIs, and enterprise systems using JSON and XML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Frontend Developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through code enhancements, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code while following coding standards and software development best practices.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support to ensure application stability and code quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development, source code management using Git, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, API Gateways, and SQL/NoSQL databases is highly preferred.
