Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Java Developer on behalf of our client in Denver, CO. This role is ideal for an experienced software professional with a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs to design, build, and maintain innovative software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.

• Build and enhance scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.

• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performing backend services using Spring technologies.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and Product Owners to deliver quality software solutions.

• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.

• Support software deployments and contribute to CI/CD practices.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security standards are met.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java application development.

• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8, 11, and/or 17).

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Spring Framework

  • Spring Boot

  • Spring MVC

  • Spring Security

  • Spring Data JPA

• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Proven experience building and supporting Microservices architectures.

• Experience with Hibernate and/or JPA.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Proficiency with Git and version control practices.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation practices.

• Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools within distributed application environments.
