Java Developer Iv

MARS Solutions Group is looking for a User Experience Java Developer IV. Our client is a (Technology/Financial Services) industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability.

Note: Must be a current WI residency. No relocation is allowed. This position can work 100% remote within the State of WI or in the ETF office.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

a. Java 4 years

b. JavaScript 3 years

c. SQL 2 years

Nice to Have:

a. ReactJS or another SPA JavaScript framework

b. Git

c. Agile development experience

Project Details:

The Java Developer role is directly involved with the development and support of Java and JavaScript web applications. Within an existing application, the role will evaluate how to best meet requirements and implement enhancements as well as provide maintenance and support. For new applications, the role serves as a team member under application architect direction in developing java and web applications in an agile environment

Example activities may include:

Participating as a developer and code reviewer on project teams.

Developing prototypes and proof-of-concept applications to determine the best technical approach.

Implementing new tools and approaches within the SDLC.

Participating in Agile scrum ceremonies

Working with business representatives to define and refine requirements

Working with quality assurance team members to create and deliver testable software
