Java Developer
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications Implement distributed processing solutions using multi-threading and multi-processing orchestration Develop cloud-based applications on Azure, with experience in OpenShift being desirable. Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and create views for relational databases. Analyze data and perform data transformations using tools like SSIS Script automation tasks using Python.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and Microservices using Java 17, Spring Cloud, and Async
Experience with cloud-based development using Azure Spring Apps, and Azure Monitor
Additional Highly Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of traded products
Experience with sensitivity calculations and position valuations
Proficiency in market risk measures such as VaR and FRTB-SA
Experience with Databricks is a plus
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Relevant certifications in Java, Azure, or other technologies are a plus.
