Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with Agile experience and an active MBI clearance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience working in Agile environments, and the ability to support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will work on mission-critical applications that support government projects, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Utilize modern development frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Apache Kafka.
- Ensure application security and compliance with government standards.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization for performance and scalability.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Support deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- Active MBI Clearance (Minimum Background Investigation).
- 7+ years of strong experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government agencies or federal contracts.
- Certification in Agile, AWS, or Java-related technologies.
EDUCATION
Candidate must also have a Bachelor's degree.
