Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, messaging systems (MQ/JMS) , and modern CI/CD practices. This role involves close collaboration with architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot Build and support RESTful microservices Develop and maintain message‑driven components using IBM MQ / ActiveMQ / JMS Collaborate with QA teams on unit testing and automation Troubleshoot, debug, and support applications in QA and production Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices Assist with deployments and production releases using CI/CD pipelines Create and maintain technical documentation Required Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Java (8+) Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot Experience with messaging technologies: IBM MQ / ActiveMQ / JMS Experience with Maven for build and dependency management Experience with CI/CD tools : Jenkins Source control experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux Experience deploying applications on Tomcat Familiarity with REST, JSON, HTTP Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) Nice to Have / Plus Skills Experience with Apache Camel or Spring Integration Experience with Splunk or Dynatrace Container experience with OpenShift or Docker Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 4–8+ years of professional Java development experience Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
