Job Title: Java Developer with Python and Kong API Gateway
Location: Malvern, PA (Onsite)
Interview: Video
Experience: 10 Years (Required >10)
Visa: GC / H4EAD / USC / H1B / GCEAD
Domain: Enterprise API Management, Financial Services, Cloud Security & Identity

Key Technical Skills:

  • 6+ years of strong, hands-on experience developing backend microservices in Java (Spring Boot) or Python
  • Proven experience configuring, managing, and automating Kong API Gateway (Enterprise, OSS, or Kong Konnect)
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful API design standards, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), event-driven architecture, and contract validation
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC)
  • Solid SQL/NoSQL proficiency (PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB)
  • Deep understanding of enterprise API security patterns (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SAML, TLS/mTLS, rate limiting)
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools
