Project Details:
• Working on Warehouse management platform – rolling that out to new buildings currently and also doing more work to make it usable by their importees (they are still using other systems right now)
• Set up environment and deploy WMS (multiple applications) to new environment for imports where they can test it and add features for using CNP (Cloud Native Platform) and then integrate with external applications and set up the environment etc. and then start adding features (work with product team on what features are etc.)
o Cross functional work for integrated applications (financial, etc.) that they may work on as well
• Build in JAVA/Spring Boot and then React UI (minimal work) and then mobile app that is Kotlin based (also not a big focus)
o Most immediate/biggest need is JAVA-based
What are the top must-have technologies/required experience for the position (Try to hone-in to a top 2-3)?
• JAVA
• Spring-boot
• Kafka (may consider similar message streaming/message queuing but this is highly preferred)
• Kubernetes (containerization knowledge)
