Salary: Up to €80k to €85k gross/year (DEO) MUST have iGaming/Gambling experienceMy client is iGaming content provider of products for sportsbook and casino operators worldwide, is looking for a Senior Java Back End developer, to work remote in Europe, in a B2B contract.Role OverviewThe Back-End Developer will be responsible for develop and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs supporting the platform. Drive technical solutions, mentor team members, and actively contribute to team goals.Skills & Experience8+ years of experience with Java, Spring, Springboot and Microservices3+ years of experience within the iGaming industry (ideally with Game Studios or Slot Games) 2+ years of experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs to support the platform and business goals.Own and drive technical solutions, support the decommissioning of legacy PHP systems, and ensure smooth integrations with external providers.Improve performance, scalability, and code quality through refactoring, best practices, and regular code reviews.Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, troubleshoot issues, and promote strong team communication and a culture of learning and mentoring.
