Java Technical Lead

Job Title: Java Technical Lead Location: Plano, TX (Onsite Role) Duration: 12 Month contract Position Type: C2C Contract Only Note: Need local Texas candidates only Job Description: Mandatory skill: • Java (Java 8+) • Spring Boot & Microservices • GitLab • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation • Twistlock (Prisma Cloud) Security Scanning • REST APIs • gile/Scrum Methodologies • P&C Knowledge Preferred skill: • WS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway) • Docker & Kubernetes • Maven/Gradle • SQL/NoSQL Databases Key Responsibilities: • Lead the architecture, design, and development of Java/Spring Boot applications. • Provide technical leadership and mentor development team members. • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and design principles. • Implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines. • Integrate Twistlock security scans into the DevSecOps process. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams. • Conduct code reviews and support production issue resolution. • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. • Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and application performance.
