Java Web Developer

To support the Department of Transportation's safety initiatives, the full-time remote Java Web Developer will build and maintain software products, analyze project requirements, and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables. Key responsibilities Analyze project requirements and provide estimated development timelines while following an agile sprint-based schedule Develop and unit test software modules, assisting the Test Team with load and performance testing as needed Document design decisions, maintain source code version control, and participate in peer reviews to enhance team skills and project outcomes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field 4-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years of object-oriented programming in Java Experience in designing and maintaining MuleSoft solutions for 2+ years Proficiency in building web applications or APIs for 4+ years, including experience with HTML, CSS, and Angular Familiarity with AWS Cloud environments and at least one source code version control tool
