Javascript Developer

Job Description This position involves maintaining and enhancing a NodeJS application with a web frontend and a web API. The applicant will work within a team, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with offshore teams and vendors. The role requires designing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications for Hyatt guests. Responsibilities Maintain, enhance, and support an existing NodeJS application. Use Node.js, Express, HTML5, and CSS to develop and maintain web frontend and APIs. Collaborate with offshore teams and wifi vendors to configure systems. Mentor junior developers. Implement internationalization for upcoming deployments. Utilize Docker, Git, and optionally Splunk for development and operations. Test and troubleshoot solutions using appropriate tools. Document and analyze software issues and provide status updates. Qualifications Minimum 4 years experience with Node.js; at least 8 years overall IT experience. Previous experience with Express, HTML5, CSS. Experience with Docker, Git; Splunk experience is a plus. Legal entitlement to work in the US (USC, GC, H1B, H1B transfers accepted). Valid passport, visa, and driver's license required for submission. Ability to mentor and work cross‑functionally. Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
