Little, nationally recognized as a Best Firm to Work For and one of the nations most progressive design firms, is seeking a Job Captain/Project Architect with a positive, collaborative work style, for our Retail Studio in our Newport Beach, CA Office.


Responsibilities include:

  • Interfacing with an expanding major retailer with a multi-state footprint.
  • Design and construction document development for execution of retail projects.
  • Attending site surveys and presenting projects to clients.
  • Overall team management to ensure and complete project assignments and reviews.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Bachelors degree in architecture; Architectural registration (or on track) is preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years Retail project experience preferred.
  • Food experience will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly organized.
  • Revit skills required; AutoCAD knowledge and experience a bonus; Photoshop, InDesign or additional graphic skills preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable and adept at working on multiple fast paced projects.
  • Candidate will be a solid self-starter, creative thinker, and independent problem solver.
  • Self-motivated candidates demonstrating a proactive work ethic are ideal.
  • A commitment to sustainability as a responsible business practice and approach to design.

***Anticipated salary range for this position: $74,205 - $91,665; based on experience level.
