Your responsibilities will include:Rooming patients quickly and efficientlyPerforming Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurementUpdating medical recordsAssisting with minor procedures and administering injectionsSupporting patients through their visit, including discharge and follow-upsManaging medical supplies and ensuring a clean work environmentReview our MA Experience Level Rubric here!Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program in medical assisting required At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers Strong customer service skills and attention to detail BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire) Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferredAbout UsPraxis Health is a family of medical groups providing high quality healthcare throughout the state of Oregon.
