We are seeking a skilled Desktop Configuration Technician to support the setup and installation of workstations. This role involves ensuring the seamless deployment of desktop equipment, software, and accessories while maintaining thorough documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Configuring and testing workstations in accordance with DFW policies and procedures at designated locations within the DFW campus.
- Installing and testing role-specific software at each workstation based on job functions.
- Installing workstations at specified locations, meeting position-specific requirements, and relocating existing equipment as needed.
- Installing and connecting multi-monitor displays, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Installing tabletop and under-mount accessories, including mouse, keyboard, telephone, radio equipment, KVM switches, cable management, and power strips as required.
- Conducting unit tests and participating in facility-wide integrated testing processes.
- Coordinating with functional managers on various project teams to ensure timely and accurate installations.
- Maintaining and updating asset and equipment inventory along with related technical documentation.

Qualifications:

- Experience in desktop configuration, workstation setup, and equipment installation.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with DFW policies, multi-monitor setups, and accessory installations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
