Title : Parking Facility Attendant / Guest Assistant
Location: DFW Airport, TX 75261 - ONSITE
Working Hours: 5:30 to 14:00 CST


Duties & Requirements:
  • Picks up litter in and around Parking garages and lots while on foot/utility cart. Uses cleaning equipment to clean assigned Parking garages and lots. Keeps work area clean and ensures cleanliness of assigned parking areas. Uses a two-way radio or a telephone to communicate and receive information concerning parking availability. Both verbally and through text messaging.
    Provides timely parking availability information to guests entering assigned parking areas. Greets and assists customers entering and exiting Airport and assigned parking areas. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
  • To provide a friendly and clean environment for our customers, our parking garages need constant cleaning. We have a crew of 20 divided into two teams (morning and evening) to ensure cleanliness. This is an entry-level position, and the turnover is high. To keep up with constant cleanliness, this request is for greater than 90 days.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the Parking Operations Shift Supervision, monitors the activity of the various parking areas around the Airport. Maintains cleanliness of parking facilities and Interacts with customers and team members by providing timely parking availability and general information. Delivers exceptional customer service/care.
Becomes familiar with the basics of DFW Airport's Environmental Management System & Environmental Policy and implement Best Management & Good Housekeeping Practices.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Picks up litter in and around Parking garages and lots while on foot/utility cart.
2. Uses cleaning equipment to clean assigned Parking garages and lots.
3. Keeps work area clean and ensures cleanliness of assigned parking areas.
4. Uses a two-way radio or a telephone to communicate and receive information concerning parking availability. Both verbally and through text messaging.
5. Provides timely parking availability information to guests entering assigned parking areas.
6. Greets and assists customers entering and exiting Airport and assigned parking areas.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year customer service experience.
Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent.
Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work flexible hours and rotating shift assignments.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies.
Ability to communicate clearly, pleasantly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and remain calm in stressful situations.
Ability to work in a highly visible public area while maintaining good customer service skills.
Ability to obtain Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) within thirty (30) days of the date of
employment and maintain qualification for the badge upon each renewal.
