JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician
Salary: $23/hour - $26/hour
Full Time Employment
- Performs intermediate level wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, such as using tools, inspecting turbines, and documenting work.
- Gathers information about turbine performance and issues, and diagnoses and recommends solutions.
- Follows a structured problem-solving process to troubleshoot and diagnose turbine problems.
- Works independently and follows instructions from higher level technical staff.
Here are some specific examples of the tasks that someone in this position might do:
- Inspect wind turbines for damage and wear.
- Lubricate and replace moving parts.
- Repair electrical and mechanical components.
- Operate and maintain specialized tools.
- Gather data and create reports.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
- Recommend and implement solutions.
