Job Title: Workday Integration Developer

Job Summary
The Workday Integration Developer designs, develops, tests, and maintains Workday integrations and applications supporting Client's business needs. The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams, ensuring integration reliability, and adhering to Client's software development and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
Level 2 (Intermediate):
- Design and develop new financial integrations within the Workday architecture.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional development teams and non-Workday applications.
- Perform all phases of product development: analysis, design, testing, deployment, and integration.
- Create and maintain integration design and technical documentation.
- Manage inbound and outbound Workday integration support, incident resolution, and monitoring.
- Participate in version upgrades, patching, and system maintenance.
- Research and apply emerging technologies and integration tools.
- Work under strict cybersecurity and data governance policies.
- Troubleshoot production issues with minimal turnaround time.
Senior/Lead (in addition to above):
- Serve as a Workday Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple teams.
- Advise management on technical strategies, SLAs, and long-term maintainability.
- Lead planning, design, and architecture phases of product development.
- Mentor, train, and provide guidance to other developers.
- Resolve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Required Experience
- Level 2: Minimum 2 years' experience with Workday integrations.
- Senior: Minimum 5 years' Workday integration experience.
- Lead: Minimum 8 years' Workday integration experience.
Core Skills:
- Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIB, Integration Security, Workday Reporting (BIRT), Calculated Fields, Business Processes.
- Strong understanding of Workday security frameworks and data integrations.
- Ability to support and troubleshoot Java/OpenShift applications that exchange data with Workday.
Preferred Skills
- Workday PRISM
- Financial system integrations (Treasury, ****ing, Settlements, Collateral Mgmt, BlackLine)
- SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPATH
- Java, Oracle PL/SQL
- Git, Maven, Jenkins
- OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible Tower automation
- Monitoring tools (Splunk, APM, Dynatrace)
- Linux systems experience
- Proven ability to optimize system performance and reliability
Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Work Location
- Hybrid role based in Taylor, TX minimum 2 days on-site per week.
- Remote work must be conducted from within Texas.
- On-site schedules may vary based on business needs.
- Employees may choose to work on-site more frequently or full-time.
