Senior Contracts Support SpecialistsOBXtek has an immediate need for a number of highly qualified Senior Contracts Support Specialists and Contracts Support Specialist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Hemisphere contract in the El Segundo, CA area.Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.We are seeking multiple Senior Contracts Support Specialists to fill the following positions located in the El Segundo, CA area:Senior Acquisition Contracting SpecialistSenior Contracts SpecialistSenior Contracts ManagerWe are seeking a Contracts Support Specialist SME to fill the following position located in the El Segundo, CA area:Acquisition Contracting Specialist SMEThe Senior Contracts Support Specialists shall have:Expertise in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and proceduresDemonstrated ability to lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee managementPrior Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) or Buyer experiencePast or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programsExpertise in the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts andExpertise reviewing contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreementsAdvanced ability to advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditionsThe Contracts Support Specialist SME shall have:Advanced expertise in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and proceduresEnhanced ability to lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee managementExtensive prior Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) or Buyer experience in U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force procurements.Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.
