Rates Cash Trade Support Analyst Job Code: 14283 Country: US City: New York Skill Category: Operations Description: Rates Cash Middle Office Department provides trading support to the Sales and Trading group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join a dedicated, collaborative team who interact with sales and trading to provide trading support. This opportunity would suit an individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is responsive and has a commitment to serving their client group. Role Description Daily support of traders that specialize in Government & Agency Debt products Interact daily with Trading, Sales and all areas of Operations to facilitate trade processing (STP) from front-end through to settlement Key Objectives Critical to Success High level of client service provided to both internal and external stakeholders High level of accuracy required in trade verification with minimal errors expected Ability to manage multiple issues and effectively prioritize workload Contribution to ongoing development of STP and control environment Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required 1 year of experience in general finance or a recent college Experience in trade capture/Fixed Income Operations, preferably with a Primary Dealer/Major Financial Institution is a plus Knowledge of Fixed Income products, Futures and Derivatives is a plus Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced work environment. Team player with strong communication skills. Bachelors degree in Finance or related field Licenses: 7 & 63 helpful & willingness to obtain Applicants for this position in the Finance Division of NHA must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States. The Finance Division is not sponsoring or taking over sponsorship of employment visas for this position at this time. Nearest Major Market: Manhattan Nearest Secondary Market: New York City
