Green Ridge Solar is seeking a well-rounded journeyman electrician who can apply their skills in all environments. Your primary focus is helping complete the A/C electrical connections for residential & commercial solar installations as well associated battery backup & generators. Residential new & existing construction, commercial construction, and light industrial applications are all installed by our company. You will work in a team environment alongside other experienced technicians applying your electrical and general construction knowledge daily. Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:

• Installation of all electrical components related to a photovoltaic system, per manufacturer specifications and national electrical code standards
• Installation of both residential and commercial electrical components related to new construction, tenant improvement, & service-related projects.
• Maintain the standards set by Green Ridge for professional, detailed installations that adhere to and follow all necessary code requirements.
• Take responsibility for the accuracy of installations and daily tasks set by field supervisor
• Develop intimate knowledge of the materials and processes used in the installation of solar equipment.
• Responsible for learning and understanding full solar system operation and how it relates to the installation process
• Perform all work in a neat and clean manor, with attention to detail on items such as level and plomb inverters & junction boxes, watertight penetrations, & properly labeled equipment.
• Understand and adhere to all National electrical code installation standards

• Active Oregon Journeyman Electrical License
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable working on roofs and using ladders
• Phenomenal work ethic with stamina for a physically demanding job
