Salary: The salary is commensurate with experience for Jr. to Mid Level Qlik experience (ranges $78,000 - $90,000)
We are looking for a skilled Jr to Mid Level Business Intelligence/Data Analyst with 1 to 3 years of professional experience to join our clients team ONSITE in W. Hillsborough/Oldsmar area of Tampa, Florida.
In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of data-driven solutions that enhance strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of data management tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. - Develop and optimize SQL queries to support dashboards and recurring reports, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain QlikView and Qlik Sense applications.
- Day-to-day tasks include creating data models, writing SQL queries, developing dashboards and reports, performing data analysis, and collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Publish and maintain dashboards in Qlik, including managing extracts, scheduling, user permissions, and performance checks
- Connect dashboards to SQL data sources; assist in troubleshooting and validating data pipelines with data integration teams
- Collaborate with database and visualization team to monitor recurring data refreshes, perform validation checks, and troubleshoot issues for assigned dashboards
- Perform updates, refinements, and QA checks to ensure dashboards and data connections remain accurate and consistent
- Build, update, and schedule automated reports using BI tools and Excel, ensuring timely delivery
- Validate and reconcile data by comparing metrics across systems and time periods to ensure reliability.
- Automate recurring data requests and support ad-hoc reporting needs during peak periods. Prepare data for predictive analytics projects, including forecasting and probability modeling.
- Continuously enhance technical skills and business knowledge to improve reporting capabilities.
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience or internship in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or related role
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
- High level of proficiency in Excel or other Data intense application (Google Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik etc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SQL programming for querying and managing relational databases.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Understanding of SDLC principles and Agile methodologies applied within project management environments.
- Skills in business analysis techniques with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
