That is why we are currently seeking the newest innovator to join our dynamic team as Jr. Industrial Designer.Key roles & responsibilitiesDesign Research: conduct consumer and lifestyle trend research to discover Europe-centric design insightsMonitor emerging trends, techs & news, ideate how to implement such into LG design working processCreate design intel/analysis reports (topic-, event-, project-specific design reports based on research and/or offline visits)Design Development: create trends and lifestyle-based design direction + design outputParticipate in design strategic planning followed by tangible creative conception works.Creative visualization (modelling, renderings, videos, supplemental visual materials)Feasible and tangible proof-sets (CMF samples, prototyping mock-ups etc.)Design Business Networking: plan, facilitate and support design/designer networking eventsPlan, collaborate and manage open innovation projects with in/external partners (project dependent)Collaborate/support regional sales and marketing events involving design contributionDesign Management: organize and manage Europe Design Lab operationOrganizational administration task assistanceCreate periodic progress reports and meeting logsRequired qualifications, skills and experienceBachelor’s degree or higher in industrial/product/automotive/interior design or relevant studiesMore than 2Y experience in industrial and/or product design roleHigh level visualization skills, including Adobe creative tools, 3D(ex. NX, Creo, Keyshot etc.), Video(ex. Premiere, After Effect etc.) and other relevant toolsTeam-first player and proactive communicator and networkerCreative storyteller and insightful presenterAttention to micro-details and aestheticsExperience/deep understanding of European living/market environmentFluent in English, German and/or Korean language will be a plusAble to travel frequently (mainly in Europe, occasionally to other locations)Driving will be required on occasionKnowledge and experience in below will be an added value : CMF design (+production/manufacturing) Digital design (+visual/graphic design, AI generated design etc.) Advanced design to mass production experience Diverse consumer product industries experience (interior, fashion, auto etc.)
