Job Title: Water Civil Engineer Entry LevelLocation: Coeur d'Alene, IDJob Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects that serve communities and enhance public services. The ideal candidate will be involved in all phases of project development, from planning and design to construction management.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects including water distribution, wastewater collection, pump and booster stations, irrigation systems, and stormwater management.Support multi-disciplinary projects for municipal clients at the city, county, state, and federal levels.Participate in permitting, report writing, and construction documentation.Attend public meetings and forums to support senior staff and engage with community stakeholders.Analyze engineering data, interpret technical plans and specifications, and develop practical solutions.Collaborate with engineers, planners, contractors, and public agencies across various offices.Utilize design and analysis tools such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, WaterCAD, and InfoSWMM.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field (required prior to start date).Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (must have passed the FE exam in any U.S. state).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar PDF tools (preferred).Familiarity with hydraulic modeling tools (preferred but not required).Strong communication, writing, and teamwork skills.
