TechOp Solutions International is seeking a talented and motivated Junior FOIA Analyst to join our team. We are a leading provider of FOIA services to government clients and are looking for individuals who possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support the strategic goals of our clients.

In this hybrid position, you will have the opportunity to maintain a work-life balance while performing the following responsibilities:

  • Respond to FOIA and Privacy Act requests by providing accurate and timely information
  • Perform data entry and support annual backlog reduction efforts
  • Prepare correspondence and ensure proper documentation in the FOIA tracking system
  • Review and redact information in accordance with FOIA and Privacy Act regulations
  • Track and maintain records of incoming FOIA requests
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations on FOIA-related inquiries
  • Conduct research and analysis to support FOIA policy development and implementation
  • Convert hard copy records into electronic files for efficient storage and retrieval
  • Process and release responsive records to appellants in response to their appeals

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred; minimum H.S. and 2 years of relevant experience required
  • At least 6 months of experience in FOIA processing
  • Familiarity with FOIA tracking systems, such as FOIAXpress
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with the latest policies and trends in FOIA and Privacy Act
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must meet security eligibility requirements
