Position: Junior Help Desk Support

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
I am looking for a Junior Help Desk Support professional to assist with daily IT operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will support end users, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth computing operations across the organization. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with early-career IT experience who is looking to develop their technical skillset.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an IT liaison for computing operations
- Respond to and resolve assigned help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Provide support to end users on hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, user accounts, and assign appropriate security levels
- Maintain help desk tracking records
- Manage software and hardware inventory
- Maintain and update IT documentation
- Organize server room and IT storage areas
- Support network and security-related tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of experience in Help Desk, Customer Service IT support, or PC Technician role
- Experience with computer and printer maintenance and repair
- Associate’s Degree required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

- Microsoft O365
- Firewall concepts
- Client-server environments
- Network security and protocols
- Desktop and laptop hardware support
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
