LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable company located in Philadelphia, PA. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Business Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 1–2 years of experience who are passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions. The successful candidate will support key operational and financial initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, improve processes, and deliver actionable insights.

Position Title: Junior Business Analyst
Salary: $20-$24/hr. 
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
 Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for new initiatives and process improvements.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to support business decisions. Create dashboards and reports using Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.

  • Process Mapping & Optimization:
    Participate in mapping current business processes and identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.

  • Project Support:
    Contribute to project planning and execution by tracking milestones, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work with teams across departments including finance, operations, and IT to support project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis and data management. Proactively suggest improvements to tools, processes, and methodologies.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a business analysis, data analysis, or operations support role (internships included).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with process documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages is a bonus.
