Overview: As a Junior Consultant at Augmentjobs, you will work closely with senior consultants and financial analysts to assist in providing comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to our clients. You will play a critical role in helping clients achieve their financial goals by analyzing their financial situation, offering strategic advice, and implementing tailored financial plans. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation:

  • Assist in conducting financial needs analysis and risk assessments for clients.

  • Participate in client meetings to understand their financial goals, concerns, and needs.

  • Support senior consultants in preparing and presenting financial strategies and plans tailored to client requirements.

• Financial Analysis:

  • Gather and analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Assist in creating financial models and forecasts to help clients understand the potential outcomes of different financial strategies.

  • Monitor and report on client portfolios and financial plans, ensuring they are aligned with clients' objectives.

• Research & Strategy Development:

  • Conduct research on financial products, investment opportunities, and market trends to support the development of client strategies.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure that all financial plans and strategies comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

• Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the latest financial products, regulations, and industry trends to provide clients with informed advice.

  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in financial consulting, financial analysis, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.

  • Basic understanding of investment products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.

  • Familiarity with financial planning software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.

• Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations based on analysis.

• Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Time Management:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Certifications:

  • Pursuing or willing to pursue relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.
