Position: Entry-Level Electrical Engineer or Physicist – Survivability Modeling & SimulationLocation: Southern Indiana – Onsite RequiredRelocation Assistance AvailableCitizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required and a clean record as you will be required to gain security clearance A growing technical team is seeking a motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer or Physicist to support critical defense-related programs focused on survivability of microelectronics in radiation environments. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with excellent mentorship and technical development opportunities. Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates.Role Overview:The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers to design, simulate, and evaluate electronic systems exposed to challenging environments, with a focus on modeling and radiation effects on microelectronics.Key Responsibilities:Support the modeling and simulation of microelectronic components under radiation exposure.Contribute to the design, development, and review of technical solutions under supervision.Assist in developing engineering specifications, system documentation, and technical reports.Participate in analysis and design reviews, preparing inputs and supporting documentation.Track and manage project data, specifications, and status in collaborative tools or databases.Engage in technical meetings and design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with engineering documentation and testing standards.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Willingness to work across disciplines in a collaborative, team-based environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a well-organized manner.Interest in or foundational knowledge of microelectronics and radiation effects.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).Preferred Qualifications:Exposure to Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA).Familiarity with SPICE modeling and radiation-aware simulations.Understanding of Monte Carlo simulation and statistical analysis techniques.Experience with programming tools such as Python, MATLAB, C, Verilog, or PEARL.Basic knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, ASICs, or PCB design.Understanding of BSIM models and Process Design Kits (PDKs).Hands-on experience with simulation and modeling tools for performance evaluation.
