JUNIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER - BRUGES (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONJob OverviewWe are looking for a motivated Junior Electronics Engineer with a focus on PCB layout to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in electronics design, develop professional skills, and grow into broader responsibilities such as full circuit design, system engineering, testing, and eventually project or team leadership.In this role, you will primarily assist with PCB layout and schematic support for multi-layer boards, working closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in high-quality, manufacturable designs. You will gain exposure to signal integrity, power distribution, EMI/EMC considerations, and DFM/DFA principles while supporting prototyping and product development.The role is designed for career growth: over time, you will have the opportunity to take on more advanced design responsibilities, participate in system-level projects, and develop project management and leadership skills within cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in PCB layout and schematic capture for electronic products under the guidance of senior engineers.Learn and apply best practices for multi-layer PCB design, high-speed signals, and power distribution.Support preparation of manufacturing outputs (Gerber files, BOMs, assembly drawings).Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure smooth integration.Support prototyping, testing, and debugging activities.Help maintain component libraries and documentation for ongoing projects.Gain exposure to design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and industry standards.Participate in design reviews and learn from feedback to improve technical skills.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Basic understanding of PCB layout principles and electronics design.Familiarity with PCB CAD tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or OrCAD.Strong interest in electronics design and willingness to learn.Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Eagerness to learn and grow professionallyAttention to detail and qualityTeam-oriented mindset and effective communicationAbility to manage small tasks and gradually take on larger responsibilitiesThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
